@flash66 Hello! Me and me friends are looking to buy motion simulator (Dof reality, P3), and we are hesitant because of the known issue/lack of support of the motion cancellation. Now we seen some videos on youtube, but it doesn't really give us enough confidence to purchase it yet. What we would need is feedback about this motion cancellation. Is it good enough to use? Do you feel any motion in your VR while playing that should not suppose to happen? So how perfect is the cancellation? Do you move around the seat while racing for instance? We desperately need some feedback about it, because that's the only think that is holding us back buying it. Please give us some feedback, if you have time, a detailed one please!
Thank you so much, Istvan
Hi don't delay buy today this thing is awesome and this all works mostly and at sometime steam is supposed to be doing this anyway in the meantime have a look at this https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator/issues/143
Weeeeee !
@trueA1M2 we know it works, but we are interested in the details! Like is it cancelling the false movements 100% precise? Is there some wiggle in it (so you moving a bit left and right in the game when you are not suppoed to)? You rig looks great tho! :) What is the airplane pillow is for btw?
Their is a choice of settings 'point zero' is popular because of an old thread and it works I use 'motion cancelation' with my trackers in two corners and the controller in this position I find it 100% on the ball, the chairs has a lot of movement and depending on game, car selection, speed and settings it is moving you around to the point I would defy you to say it wasn't 100% on the ball. I do use flight sims but I haven't on this yet I'm track mad u c hence the open wheeler bolted on top of the P3. Check at simtools for simulators 'plugins' is the next issue BR
The pillow is just to adjust my awful posture :) I'm an old man u c
@trueA1M2 Thank you for the feedback. And sorry but It's not super clear for me, I'm a bit confused. So is it 100% precise for you with motion cancellation or it is not? If it's not, then how big the 'false' movement is in the game? Are we talking about millimeter movements or noticable and disturbing scale of movements in the car game for instance?
Be assured a 100% once you have a setup
Hi Matthias, I just wanted to thank you for this addition. So far with a Pimax 5K+, one lighthouse, and a Vive tracker things seems great! I just wanted to offer any testing feedback you may like to have and to extend my appreciation. Sorry, but I couldn't find any means other than this to contact you. Wanted to send you a few$$ as well for support. Thanks again!
