An OpenVR driver that allows to create virtual controllers, emulate controller input, manipulate poses of existing controllers and remap buttons. A client-side library that communicates with the driver via shared-memory is also included.
My name is Sam Pike and I am currently writing an OpenVR driver for an industry partner's VR device, and I would greatly appreciate talking to you about your old implementation on the Open VR Input Emulator. We've run into some difficulties with the new input binding system, making it impossible (currently) for us to add our controller device as a third controller to run alongside 2 motion controllers and the HMD. It would be great to discuss how you managed to add virtual controllers.
