Hacking a hidden wireless #652

I found the name of the AP  : @@CR7))

when i try to hack it using reaver i got an error which said 

syntaxe error : unexpetected ")"

what's the solution for this problem?

is putting the essid in the command line Reaver?

airodump-ng for long way can help you to see hidden networks.. don't press 
ctrl+C for 5 minutes then hopefully u'll see hidden networks there,,,
