New dimension only appears once the view is refreshed #22

When adding a dimension, it only shows after moving the view a little.

Great stuff so far!

It would be useful to be able to see dimensions in object mode as well. Is that possible?

It's already possible to see dimensions in object mode through an option in the N panel in the 3D view.

Ah, thanks. You might want that to be on by default.

Also, is there anyway of applying dimensions to a torus so its thickness can be scaled with a dimension?
