As a Firefox user, I want to ctrl-click multiple links e.g., on a search engine results page and have them all opened in tabs in the background.
Currently, they are opened in the foreground. I can hardly imagine any use case for this.
Most browsers default to opening tabs in the background.
In other words, the checkbox "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" in the preferences should be unchecked by default.
