Hello. aI am a blind person, I use TalkBack, screen reading software baked in to Android. The app is very accessible, but it would help a lot if you could add Echo II emulation to the app, I would be able to run talking software image and use the computer, just like I used to as a kid. I'd be happy to kick in a few bucks if that would help.
Mame emulates this card, so much of the work has already been done. There is an accessible Windows/Mac emulator based on Mess, this is in tern based on Mame. It's at http://www.bluegrasspals.com/messapple/. I'll attach a disk image that includes the software that makes the Echo II speak. You'll know it works if the echo speaks the keys you type and reads output.
