Enable copy/cut/paste in daily lists

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The morning toast is a regular item I add every day. I always have to pick 
it from my favorites list. Copying and pasting it from one day to another would 
simplify this.
2. When adding items for yesterday I forgot to add, I often first add them to 
the current date by mistake. When I realize this,  I have to delete it on 
today's view and add it from my favorites in the "yesterday view" or even 
rewrite the entry if this is not a favorite yet. Copying or cutting and then 
moving it would be very helpful. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Usability would be improved by adding more user comfort with the functions 
"copy/cut/paste" that everybody is used to from desktop software.
