Ablity to Group foods into a single entry

What is the enhancement that you had in mind?
I make things like Sandwiches for lunch so to enter them I have to add the 
bread, then the meat, then the cheese....etc.
I have added custom foods like Homemade Sandwich but it doesn't show me what it 
was made from.  I can't remember now but I had a reason why I needed to know 
what the custom food was made from.  

Why not add a custom food builder that takes individual foods and groups them 
together but still
This is similar to the recipe enhancement request from another user so this may 
work for both

How should it work?
I would envision it to look like a standard entry in the Diary with a + next to 
the entry to expand the entry to show its components.

Can you provide an illustration of what you think it should look like (if
applicable)
