I suggest you release a stable version of the grappelli-navbar on pypi and then accept this pull request, please wrote about this new project on README before release the version. I would like you to change the repo name to django-grappelli-extensions and release a stable with the @raphapassini commits.

Now your lib has a sidebar and support for themes like a Journal theme made by @raphapassini. ;)
