You mentioned you might license the PDF as Creative Commons "if there is interest"

I did, I'm thinking about the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (do you have any thought on what license should it be?). I want to talk with some people before deciding. In 1 month I may have a decision.

I mainly have 3 concerns:

  1. I wouldn't like that someone tries to re-sell the deck without permission.
  2. Maybe it makes it harder to get a publishing deal in the future. (because publisher may say that there will be less sales due to people making their PnP)
  3. People not printing the deck as I intended, so they may have a suboptimal experience and dislike the deck due to that. For example, the deck is intended to be waterproof, I think that no one will do a PnP waterproof version. Or that people print them and put the cards into slaves (or laminates them), and as a consequence not draw in the cards, as they were intended.

And what I like of it being free (from freedom) is that more people will have access to it and build upon it to create cooler multidecks. And I think it is compatible with me selling it in a "pack" with pouch, chips and game requests.

I also coded a website to generate the PDF, that lets you change colors, emojis, back, or whatever. It would be cool to also share that.

Out of curiosity, what would you use the PDF for? I guess for a PnP version. If so, where would you print them, at your home or at a copy shop? I ask to know what people expect for a PnP, so I can give appropriately formatted files and guidelines.
