Debugging of built plugins is problematic #110

The current build process creates "Release" builds of plugins. However, when trying to identify issues these need to be "Debug" builds so that more information about the issues can be ascertained. Perhaps non-tagged builds should be automatically "Debug" builds and only tagged builds be "Release" builds.
