Fix hang on macOS, translation updates, cmake update #18

Mauro... I would like to push one more release targeting O4.x out of the door before switching everything to the new toolchain and wx3.1/3.2.

Everything seems to work (I have fixed a hang on macOS caused by calling wxLaunchDefaultBrowser from the modal preferences dialog) so if you don't have anything else ready yourself please tag 0.7.1 so that all the other packagers know there are at least the translation updates they should pick up.
