Not tracking emails sent from GMAIL. #8

Hello. I did several tests with my account and another colleague, and for neither of us it is working to track emails.

It is only showing the notifications without a problem, but not tracking at all on Mautic instance (neither emails sent nor the emails opened).

@cardened can you elaborate on this? Emails sent from Mautic aren't supposed to be tracked unless you use the gmail plugin. Is that what you're using? If so, this should probably be in the repo for that plugin. For what it's worth, when I tested that plugin it wasn't working for me either and it was even crashing my gmail.

Yes. I was having that exact problem.

When using the track emails sent from gmail, it did not track them + it was crashing my gmail as well.

I am using GSuite email to send emails, and I found that my emails if sent directly from the Mautic Server, it is sending the email to promotions tab on Gmail, and if we send it directly from GMAIL, it goes to the main inbox.

Hi folks, the Gmail plugin has not worked for some time. We lack the resources in the community to fix it. If someone would like to take it on then you can do so via the Github repo here: https://github.com/mautic/mautic-helper-chrome-extension.

As this is not a bug related to Mautic I am going to move it over to that repo and close it as a duplicate of https://github.com/mautic/mautic-helper-chrome-extension/issues/7.
