What happened?

Updating to Joomla 4 reports that Mautic could be a potential problem. Is there a plan to release and update for Joomla plugin?

How can we reproduce this issue?

Step 1: Updated to Joomla 3.10.0 Step 2: Run a pre-update check to list the extensions that may cause potential risks.

Thanks for raising this @ServicedCloud - at present we don't have anyone working on this and the plugin hasn't been updated in quite some time. Would you be interested in looking into what might need to be updated to support Mautic 4/Joomla 4?

Hi @RCheesley! I wish I could contribute to it but I am not a developer. Are there other things that I can help with that isn't related to coding?

Hey there! For sure you can help with a wide range of things, it might be easier to chat on Slack (get an invite at https://mautic.org/slack) if you can?

Also, you can always add a bounty to an issue if you'd be OK with funding someone to work on a task or an issue, or hire a freelancer and ask them to commit their work back to the Open Source repo.

Hi @ServicedCloud I have made a start to work on this. I have it working in as far as you can load the tracking code on the front-end and it doesn't break the site when you enable the plugin, but I have not got the authentication working yet nor tested the functionality like embedding forms/dynamic content etc. Planning to chip away at it as I need it for my own site migration!
