Allow super-switcher to use arbitrary meta keys (Especially, say, "Alt" so
that it can replace Alt-Tab completely)

Is there some work being done on this issue?
I really would like to be able to replace the Alt-Tab behavior with 
super-switcher.

There isn't any activity on superswitcher these days.
