Connecting to drone... (never happens) #25

Hi, I have a problem it was already reported here (Issue #3 by marck1991 was closed on 28 Aug 2017) but I can't find the solution on the closed thread. Let me describe: I follow the steps "How to use:" on the README.md I have DJI Assistant 2. I have DroneZBreak v0.8

I open the Assistant, I then open DroneZBreak and after that I connect my already power up drone to the USB port. It gets detected by Assistant, it gets detected by DroneZBreak but after 30 seconds or so I get this error window: "Firmware version can not be retrieved. It might be a problem with accessing the upgrade service. Try to restart DJI Assistant, DroneZBreak and your Mac, or you may try to re-install DJI Assistant and DroneZBreak completely. Before reinstall delete DroneZBreak.app from Applications folder manually. If this doesn't work then go online again and check if any firewall (eg. LittleSnitch) is NOT blocking outgoing connections of DJI Asssistant."

I don't have LittleSnitch installed or any other firewall ( that I'm aware of )

Here you have the DZB_log.txt DZB_log.txt

Also a screenshot of the Assistant 1.1.2 firmware window where there is no way to update it. I read this is an error with old versions, like if DJI is blocking them from retrieving that info from the servers.

You can hit retry for ever with no results. Here a video where they explain it. https://youtu.be/oNd1nJnSDUo

I can't make both versions (1.1.2 and the newest) work on the same computer (OSX 10.12.6) at the same time.

I uninstall the 1.1.2 using the AppCleaner app and also deleting a folder located in Library/Application Support/DJIAssistant2 that the app doesn't erase.

I install the latest Assistant (DJI+Assistant+2+1.2.4.pkg) and repeat the steps on "How to use:" of the README.md

I try it two times, first online second with the wifi deactivated, so I suppose is offline. Here you have the log with both sessions:

DZB_log2.txt

And I get a new message on the DroneZBreak app, well it's not a popup it's just the red labeled text saying "waiting for your drone to be connected" that never disappears.

With the Assistant 1.1.2 that message disappears a few seconds after the drone is plugged in.

Also, with the 1.2.4 I get to see the firmware on the Assistant

I don't have other mac to try this on. I haven't played with other apps before like DUMLdore, just messed with the DJI GO app and the deejayeye-modder .

Thanks for your help.

BTW, I get to see the parameters of the drone with the debug mode on the 1.1.2 Assistant.
