Could not start "DroneZBreak” because it may be damaged or incomplete. #4

I can't launch the app at all : ( Instead when I try and launch it the following message dialogue appears: ""DroneZBreak” because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I'm running OS X 10.12.6. The App icon is a generic application icon with a "no entry" sign over it.

Then the file is corrupt. Please download it again properly, try it with different browser, etc. You should see the application icon otherwise it means the download is incomplete.

Yeah, Ive tried downloading on 4 different browser. Safari, Opera, Chrome and Firefox. All do the same damaged or incomplete message.

Just to make it sure. The file is an application compressed into a zip file. After downloading the file you have to unzip it before launch. If unzip works the download should have succeeded. Can you confirm that you unzipped the file and the app still does not have an icon?

I think you are not downloading the file correctly. Do not click on the green "clone or download" button but click on the binary file in list "DroneZBreak.app.zip". It will tell you: "Sorry about that, but we can’t show files that are this big right now." Click DOWNLOAD on that page.

Hey, Ive just tried the method you suggest and it still not working.

@cliofreak , extract the zip and show file contents and copy the app with proper icon to your Applications folder.

That works for me .

Got it! Had to click 'show contents' on the broken 'line through' icon and I could then see the drone icon! Cheers.

Good. Summing everything once again: you have to unzip the downloaded file because it's a ZIP consisting 3 files: (the binary, changelog.txt and readme.txt). If they are not visible for some reason: right click and show contents.
