How can I set flight mode - manual mode or stabilized mode? Can you give some example?

Manual/stabilized modes are generally modes flown using RC, so changing the mode to it should probably happen with RC as well. At least this was my thinking at the time.By now I realize that it is a much requested feature, so I'm planning to add it.
