6 years ago I agree with @DonLakeFlyer - see https://github.com/mavlink/qgc-dev-guide/pull/42
It doesn't matter all that much because the links don't change (so this isn't a maintenance burden). The main reason I changed this is to provide rationale for providing the daily build links in a page about building from source.
This should just point to the Daily Build page of the user guide.
