Hi maxsu. I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior, but I assume it is not. There is a soft incompatibility between Maxsu's Block overhaul and Sekiro Combat S. Similar issues with Valhalla Combat as well.
With both mods installed, perfect timed block from Sekiro Combat S/Valhalla Combat will be treated as ordinary block: the player staggers and/or gets pushed back/recoiled.
SCS/Valhalla aims to provide a window for the player to counter-attack while the enemy recoiled; however the push back from Block Overhaul means the player need to take a few seconds to close their gap with the enemies, thus closing the attack window.
If this is not the intended behavior, would a patch need to be done from your end or their end? (Kittytail / Dtry, the authors of SCS and Valhalla)
