If you do, I'd suggest charging money for it in the AppStore.
That way, people can decide if they want to install via Github or via the AppStore (for a fee).
Maintaining an open-source project is always work, and although money from the AppStore likely won't be enough to cover all costs, it's at least a partial contribution to the project.
I'd probably go for at least $50 or $100 for the app (if it's a one-time).

We currently have Gordian SeedTool (source) available in the Apple App Store for macOS and iOS, for managing and backing up cryptographic seeds and keys.
I could be better way to update app without GitHub network access requirement.
