There is no handler defined for YouTube links on Apple TVs. So the Apple TV does not know what to do with the links. If you want to get this fixed, you could ask Google to handle YouTube links on Apple TV via the YouTube app.
The plugin itself works as expected, no bug.
Try a link that can be handled on Apple TVs. Take a look at the config.json in the README for examples.
@DSimeone1989 Some feedback would be nice. Please close this issue if everything is clear now. Otherwise, I am here to help.
Dear Max, First of all thx 4 your very quick reply. But tbh, I did not get it. I know what you mean, but I do not know what to do. I tried it with pyatv, vlc, googled, etc. but the solution escaped me.
Could you give me further hints? Thx
@DSimeone1989 YouTube does not work. This is a limitation of Apple TV, not the plugin. Try a diffrent link, e.g. Disney or Netflix.
Current Situation
Dear Max, As you answered my question, the additional inputs showed up. I recreated venv and it worked. Unfortunately the AppleTV does not open those inputs. Therefore I enclosed the logs.
I am a noob if it comes to coding. What do I do wrong?
Thx.
Kind regards
