Manifest update broke toolbar icon #3

The last update, "Update to manifest version 2," appears to have broken the functionality of the plug-in. It will no longer open when clicked. Looking into the settings for it on the extensions page, this error message is displayed:

There were warnings when trying to install this extension: 'background_page' requires manifest version of 1 or lower.
