Hey Maxime,

this is an amazing plugin - and I was looking for something so basic for a long time! Are you still planning on updating the plugin for newer Wordpress versions? There seem to be some problems with Gutenberg. Even if it is working in general. For example: When I save the new content and try to leave the page, a popup opens and tells me that I didn't save the content and if I really would like to leave.

If you are still planing on updating this plugin I would really apreceate that. And if you need any help just let me know.

Thanks so much.

Hello,

Actually I'm planning to remove the support for Gutenberg from Sublanguage. I explained there why: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/gutenberg-and-custom-fields-translation/#post-12037530. Maybe I'll to bring it in a different plugin. But of course if you or anyone want to rework the Gutenberg implementation I would gladly give a contributor access.

But of course I will continue supporting the plugin with all other features, simply because Im using it on every second site I build. Im just in a very busy period, so I have to delay the release of the next update.

I remembered having tryed to resolve the specific issue you describe, unfortunatly without success: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/link-that-will-save-the-post-before-leaving/

Thanks for your quick reply. May I ask what kind of editor you use? Just the basic "old" editor? I started to enjoy using Gutenberg even when I was sceptical in the beginning. But I don't have to use it if I have a good and working multi language plugin instead. And the other plugins are "crap" (just my thought) any way to complicated.

Another thing that I realized is the lack of supporting the Yoast SEO Sitemap features. Did you ever think about that? Or are you not using it?

But of course I will continue supporting the plugin with all other features, simply because Im using it on every second site I build. Im just in a very busy period, so I have to delay the release of the next update.

I would be interested. But my knowledge of the wordpress development is far from good. So I guess I'm not much of help with it. And if it is just because of Gutenberg I can easily just use the old editor instead.

Hi! Maxime, thank you for your reply. It’s a bit pity to here, but quite understandable. Gutenberg is great, but still raw. How it works with meta was unpleasant surprise for me. I fixed all serious problems with ACF, WooCommerce and Yoast using only filters. Do I need to publish this? I didn’t solved this problem with PopUp so, but I found it uncritical to solve in a first place, even if it's a bit annoying. @Flaschenzug I didn't found any problems with Yoast SEO Sitemap. I just have 5 Sitemaps and it's completely ok for search engines )
