Hola Estimado, hice un checkout del código en Windows y me encuentro que en 
los archivos bajado el código que tiene asentó esta con caracteres extraño 
que rompe la sintaxis. 

Hay alguna solución?

Tenés que utilizar UTF-8, ver:
