the example for the lewansoul_lx16a_controller was missing the module in the setup.py. After getting it to load, I realized that the board is recognized as a hid device and not a serial device. Could this be due to the changes in the board since you last update? Thanks in advance

Am I not sure what you're talking about, but the way board is recognized depends on USB drivers and have nothing to do with this library.

@JENkt4k I think you'd have to use an external serial adapter on the UART port of the board. Until he adds hid library support to this tool. Like the Xarm library does. https://pypi.org/project/xarm/

@JENkt4k Bit of a necro, but I resolved this by using the bus linker board rather than the larger board
