1 year ago Not sure if this should be a separate FR, but it would be also nice to have an app shortcut of the same purpose, see screenshot below. On tap, this opens the app and starts recording.
Thing is, launchers let these shortcuts to be dragged to the home screen as a separate icon, so user can run this shortcut in one tap.

Similar to voice recorder apps, would be nice to have a widget to instantly create a memo.
It could work the same as in the app: tap to start record, second tap to stop; or hold to record. Quick memos would probably end up in Inbox, but that could be configurable.
