make a default plot file #34

use this to check the state of the code as things change plots should be consistent over time these plots might be commited

Make sure this has FULL coverage of ALL of the code. The file should run fast (use trials = 2) so you can run it make sure everything is working.

this is currently operational in test_experiments.py
