The Japanese government provides a daily report on the current status of patients via the Ministry of Health, Labour, & Welfare's website (site is in Japanese). I had limited success with pytesseract here, and mostly filled this is manually.
Column descriptions are as follows:

Total number of current patients with symptoms but pending categorization into two preceding categories
waiting
Total number of patients waiting to be admitted to hospital
pending_symptoms
Total number of patients waiting to be determined as symptomatic or asymptomatic
recovered
Cumulative total of patients who were admitted to hospital and subsequently released
