What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run puttycyg
2. use vi to edit a file
3. It will report the following:
Vim: Warning: Output is not to a terminal
Vim: Warning: Input is not from a terminal

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Which version of PuTTYcyg are you using? Which version of Windows? What
version of Cygwin? Do you have a dual-core system or multiple CPUs? Any
firewall software installed?
latest version of puttycyg
on windows xp sp2
latest version of cygwin
it's a dual-core cpu

Which vi are you using? If you are using a non-Cygwin vi, it will not work
under
PuTTYcyg.
