Hi there,
I am not sure if posting here is right as it seems to be a UbuntuMate problem but it is appearing with the ubuntuMate desktop image of berryboot. Therefore I just post it here...
I installed the UbuntuMate desktop and after I finished the install I can reach the local lan, but I cannot reach the internet. Seems like there is a manual configuration of ip and gateway for eth0 (pi is connected with a lan cable) without an assigned dns. When I change the eth0 config with nm-connection-manager to "dhcp" it is going to work for this session. But after a restart it is the same as before and in addition I get two eth0 profiles in the connection manager. Does anyone experience the same situation or knows how to solve this?
Thank you for your help!
Cheers
I just tried another sd card and berryboot with an USB stick. The internet is working in Ubuntu Mate desktop from the beginning. But it is called "wired connection 1" and no longer "eth0"...
