Synology iSCSI and Berryboot 2.0 on Pi4 not working reliably. #625

Hello,

I have the following configuration and issue:

Synology NAS DS718+ with DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 6 Raspberry Pi 4 4Gb with BerryBoot (berryboot-20191005-pi4.zip) installed

I have created an iSCSI Target and LUN and configured Berryboot, I have installed a number of operating systems, I have rebooted the NAS and Raspberry Pi, I now have an error on the Raspberry Pi in BerryBoot as follows:

"Perform fsck? Error mounting data partition. Try to repair file system?"

Nothing seems to work and this has happened a number of times, leaving Berryboot unreliable for me in this configuration.

The only way to recover is to wipe the iSCSI and start again allowing Berryboot to reformat, etc.

Any ideas welcome.

I have a similiar problem... My BerryBoot says "no partition data" and "cannot find my data partition". Seems like the berryboot installation is not found. sadly I had no backup of my configured raspbian with iobroker... Is there a possibility to recover the data partitions of the system and install a fresh berryboot without formatting the raspbian partition? Does someone know what produces this issue?
