USB automount /media/pi/ not accessible in TwisterOS or Raspberry Pi OS #670

When inserting any USB device the automounter recognizes the drive, but I cannot access /media/pi/DRIVENAME. This happens on Raspbian and Twister OS but works as expected when using the original images without BB. I can't tell if this issue is related to BerryBoot or the altered OS images. Even sudo or chown / chmod will not help. Also some other folders are restricted the same way. Is this my misunderstanding?

I second this! Only workaround is to open /media/pi with root privileges. If this could be looked into that would be great!
