Tcpick is a tool to view tcpdump dump files in human-readable format.
While it is possible to view them on host machine, using tcpick within a Netkit system is a more convenient approach.
Did you see my UML dump patch here: https://github.com/maxonthegit/netkit-core/pull/14 ? It permits to use wireshark to sniff packets traversing an uml_switch instance, without root rights and the need to use tuntap.
