Don't worry about fixing them immediately, just giving you a heads up on what I found when playing around (If you didn't already know about them).
Sliders, in general the only settings that I was able to set them to was; maximum and minimum values.
I went into the Debug, clicked show updates(any selection will produce the same effects) to no, and Minecraft crashes. If you would like I could reproduce these steps and get the stack trace. Mainly it looks like it is a conflict with "Updating screen events" and maybe something else.
