@tasmo hey, have you tried forcing sync (via pull to refresh for instance)?
I'm having the same issue, it's pulling in bookmarks from Pinboard, but not pushing them back from the app. I've tried a manual sync through the app and that didn't work.
Syncing worked here, BUT, with a big drawback: the timestamp of all bookmarks was wrong. Everything appears boomarked "yesterday", when in fact I had bookmarked those pages 1-3 weeks ago. I did have auto-sync off at times in order to save battery, but PinDroid should store internally when the bookmark was pinned, too, and sync that.
Sync seems to be working again for me now and I don't think I have the same issue as @dandv, I don't see a big lump of bookmarks all added on the same day.
This seems to still be an issue. Just looking at my "Unread", for example, I see both bookmarks on the website that don't appear in the app and bookmarks in the app that don't appear on the website. I have tried pull to force refresh as well as logging out and back in and nothing seems to have fixed it.
Syncing has worked perhaps once, but I have hundreds of bookmarks on my phone that are stuck there.
The workaround in #83 didn't work for me, but manually deleting bookmark entries from the sqlite database did, which I documented here: https://github.com/maxpower47/PinDroid/issues/83#issuecomment-430480103
Had the same issue, twice already. I think last time I probably also just deleted the last not-synced bookmark and initiated a sync via pull-to-refresh.
This time I couldn't even edit that bookmark, app crashed (reported it via crash report)but luckily I could delete it (and even open in browser).
Now my bookmarks are syncing but as someone mentioned the all are synced as "created just now" which is unfortunate.
My two asks would be:
On the other hand it's also not great when just a few select bookmarks silently don't sync and I have know way knowing (besides scrolling through all bookmarks and checking for the sync icon).
But thank you for an amazing app!
I've found that it stopped syncing for me maybe a week ago (Pinboard v3.3.2 on Android 10 / OxygenOS 10.3.8). I thought it might be the same problem as @RMHogervorst had in issue #96, where some weird JavaScript from Medium.com was preventing the sync, but fixing the title on the Medium article in my queue hasn't solved the problem for me.
I can manually re-bookmark the ones that haven't synced, but it'd be good to know if the problem is likely to recur :)
I can read my bookmarks which I added to pinboard.in in Pindroid very well but it does not sync back to the platform at all. I use latest snapshot of CyanogenMod with Google Apps installed.
