I think this should be classified as an enhancement, not a defect.

That is indeed an enhancement... and it is really not a new one!
So, as I've already wrote many times: a MacOS version is not scheduled - not
because it
won't be needed or useful, but because there is nobody out there to take care
of a
pythonxy-Mac project.
Thanks for your feedback
Cheers

Pierre, do you mean there's no one to make a pythonxy-mac work, or to
continually support it?
What would be required in order to make a Mac version work at all?
If someone were consider taking care of a pythonxy-mac project, what would
their responsibilities be?

Basically there's everything to do: Python(x,y) original project developments
are
specific to Windows. The only thing that can be reused is the plugin list: the
choices
that were made to create a self-consistent Python development platform.
But if there is a pythonxy-Mac project, it would be a totally different project
like
pythonxy-linux. And I meant that there's no one to make the project *and* to
maintain/support it.
