The documentation was inaccurate. MCZ pellet stoves don't accept "on" as argument for mode. If you want a manual on, you must use "man". However, "off" was missing and is now added.

Sorry this has taken an age - you are quite right, and the documentation in the underlying rfxcom node is correct. I was probably having a senior moment when I copied it here!

No worries, happen all the time. Quite confusing the first time you use the node, if you don't read the RFXCOM docs ! :)
