If doing this, it is also desirable to prevent it being done accidentally. I
have
two suggestions:
1. Hide it somewhere "semi-obvious", like in the module info window or in one
of the
menus, so that it is repeatable but not done accidentally.
2. Preferably allow undo, just in case (I would suggest deleting on application
exit,
though this could confuse if they were really low on space).

I think a book manager which allowed deletion and deciphering is far enough out
of
the way to prevent mistakes. And of course the alert to see whether they really
want
to do it (which they will probably OK whether they do or not...)
Delete will not allow undo.

Note that this has checkboxes so the user can delete all their modules easily :/
