Could we have an "Instant" which is actually instant? #24

Or at least is going as fast as possible?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.8/Ubuntu 9.10

When speed is set to "Instant" there are no built-in delays. It is going as 
fast as possible.

That said, if you want to dig deeper, you could try profiling to see if you can 
find areas to speed up.

Or maybe you could look at delaying updating the screen -- maybe update only 
once a second or less. I don't have a good sense of how difficult that would be 
or how useful.

I've never really had any trouble with instant being too slow, so I'm not going 
to spend much time on it.
