Use proper markdown strikethrough (~): “special” unicode characters often are not recognized by screen readers.

screen readers treat special characters differently to the standard alphabet. This can cause issues as assistive technologies cannot always ‘read’ them. Sometimes they will skip them altogether.

Hey, thanks a lot! Feel free to also suggest some other improvements that improve accessibility, also in the form of issues. Improving UX for impaired people is definitely worth some work :) I'll try to deploy it soon alongside some other changes
