By "browser bar" do you mean the extension button which brings up extension's popup?
And by "note-taking function" do you mean adding free text to Mazed, not necessarily attached to any web link? Or do you mean the action of manually bookmarking a website?
I mean the action of creating notes/free text, which occurs in the browser bar, which occurs after bookmarking or after a page is automatically saved.
Today: The note-taking function is in the browser bar. This means more clicks for the user. It also has shown to be a problem when the user does not pin Mazed to the browser ahead of time, during onboarding. This was not intuitively obvious, as seen in interviews with Tommy, Alan, and others.
Tomorrow: Potential solution: Notes could be a card in the mazed pop up. A few cards for recommendations, and a card for notes.
