Fix documentation (closes #7) #10

Hello,

this PR introduces a Makefile, removes the generated files (in tech/build), adds instructions to build the HMTL documentation using sphinx-build (closes #9), and -- its original intent -- fixes the progress information on the dd command, effectively closing issue #7.

Note that if you want to use ReadTheDocs, you might prefer using sphinx-autobuild instead of the Makefile (or in the Makefile), although I'm not sure yet how that works.
