Changing hostname on apps doesn't change it on the apps #167

I've configured the hostname in the networking settings. I've went to each app and updated them to the same hostname. But when I click the buttons on the portal it goes to the address I setup, but the service is not there. So the apps didn't update their hostname. I know the local.mazizone.eu is the backup hostname of the device. But it's not using the new hostname except when I first login to the portal page. The local pages for the various apps is not updating.

PS. Once I updated the hostname all the apps should have updated automatically to that hostname.

Hi, thanks for using MAZI!

This is a known issue, which was not fully addressed before the end of the MAZI project. See here for a still incomplete answer: https://github.com/mazi-project/guides/issues/21. And please let us know if you manage to find a solution.

Thanks for that info. That worked. I updated the /etc/hosts file with my new local.mydomain.lan domain. Then found that OwnCloud had a config called authorized_hosts. I had to update that as well now it recognizes the new name too. So far everything else seems to be working. I’m still working on loading my docs to it.
