Scrum updates for the week 1st and 2nd week of the project. (May 30 - June 11)

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? Learned React, material UI and implemented initial iteration of the front-end. What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? Learning React and Material UI What do you plan to work for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Improve frontend and start implementing the backend

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? Contributed in team discussions, setup github permissions / branching structure, learned enough react/material UI to create the moviecard / cardlist components for the minimal requirements.

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? No major issues - a slow start to development due to the steep learning curve, but achieved what I was aiming for in the end.

What do you plan to work for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Helping to achieve uniformity amongst all the components, working towards the next project milestone. Planning to start developing the data structure for the backend of the website via JSON/API (very rough example visible in initialmoviedata JSON file so far)

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? Researched different ways to organize advanced search options and lead group discussion on deciding which one to take. Designed different options for a website logo and created it. Learned about Material-UI to contribute to our components.

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? Unexpectedly had issues with git and setting up my branch in a way that I can run it properly.

What do you plan to work for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Working towards the next milestone; solidifying my understanding of Material-UI, polishing the UI and getting started with the backend.

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? Contributed to team discussions to decide the front end layout, learned React and material UI to create a responsive navigation bar component for the minimal requirements.

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? No major issues. React and material UI is new to me. I found the learning curve steep but I was successfully able to create a responsive component.

What do you plan to work for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Learn new technologies for backend web development and start working on the backend.

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)? Completed sidebar and advanced search component on project. Learned react and material UI as part of the project progress 2 requirements. Participated in team discussions.

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into? Had trouble learning formatting for material UI components.

What do you plan to work for this coming iteration (2 weeks)? Fix component and make it responsive, add other advanced search components. Learn back-end technologies for the project.
