I would like to return the minimap.
I would like to return the minimap.
Me too, but I reckon that is probably a pretty big wish, whereas a gesture to jump to specific zoom levels is probably a comparatively minor ask ;)
In a perfect world, I would love to have a zoom minimap that has a dropdown to select fixed zoom levels; usability wise, I think that would probably be ideal
The minimap was part of the system so maybe it could be easy @mb1986 :) ?
I would add a request for a 75% zoom level (at least I think that's right). Whatever the actual value, the intention is to zoom out portrait mode in such a way that it shows the landscape width. Oh, reading that made my head hurt, but that is a good idea - maybe, for the nerds of us, that feature could be made so it takes the 'zoom level bookmarks' from a text file that one could trivial change via SSH in order to not need to cover every single persons use case specifically ?
Or maybe a fixed set of bookmarks and a couple of custom ones the user defines, i.e., in rM Hacks Configuration.
Since there is a feature for Type Folio for 'Ctrl-+' and 'Ctrl--' to do zoom in and zoom out, I wonder if it might be a simple thing to have (a) button(s) in the tool bar (or quicktools) for zoom in and zoom out that just invokes those same actions.
Please bring back the original zoom function where there was a small map and a drop down zoom button.
A long time ago, when the rM still had the 'zoom minimap', there used to be a feature where you could jump to specific zoom levels with hotkeys - I think 100%, 125%, 150%, 200% and 400% (maybe 800% too ?). It was super neat for filling in things like PDFs, because when you zoom manually, you end up writing at different sizes in different parts of the document.
Any chance we can have something like that back ? Maybe even without controls and just gestures, you could loop through the different zoom levels each time you do the gesture.
