POSIX waitForReadyRead() #113

Hi all,

I needed to use waitForReadyRead() in my program but it wasn't implemented. 
I've attached a sample POSIX compliant waitForReadyRead function that I ended 
up writing in case it's of use to anyone else. I didn't know how to create a 
diff, so I'm just attaching the relevant files.
