It's useful to be able to set up a named temporary waypoint that can be seen on the map and referenced in missions but isn't saved forever. This is less important than stations/persistent waypoints, but is nice to have.

I think something like Dash4's markers, but saved to your user account instead of local to the browser and optionally made available to other users would be awesome. But any solution that allows the creation of a temporary waypoint that can be referenced in missions by clicking and by inputting a lat/lon would work.
Describe alternatives you've considered
This doesn't inherently do anything that persistent waypoints doesn't, but without temporary waypoints we're likely to accumulate a lot of useless/one-off persistent waypoints very quickly.
