I started looking into this and it appears there's an issue with how it loads the different "Modules" within the name. The log file RCIROSE.LOG
has the following entry:
14:7:46 5/1/1921 Tried to add this mod twice 50
The failure appears to be in _ACQUIRE_MODIFICATION
which is failing or identifying the mod as already being loaded. The exact code in question is here:
A normal startup in the log looks like
...
10:4:9 5/4/1921 Processing back 2 up file 6
10:4:9 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:9 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 Processing back 2 up file 7
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 Processing back up file 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 c 1
10:4:10 5/4/1921 Processing back up file 2
...
And the crash cuts it off here:
6:0:14 5/5/1921 Processing back 2 up file 6
6:0:14 5/5/1921 c 1
6:0:14 5/5/1921 c 1
6:0:14 5/5/1921 Processing back 2 up file 7
6:0:14 5/5/1921 c 1
6:0:14 5/5/1921 c 1
(something happens here)
8:38:16 5/5/1921 Checkpoint 07
8:38:16 5/5/1921 c 1
8:38:16 5/5/1921 c 1
Which means the start after cleanup is having an issue with the "processing backup" files - is this possibly the duplicate it's complaining about?
I believe these backups are the content of the MBBSEMU\Modules\RCIROSE\rcidfb1
location:
Any further thoughts on this?
Haven't had a chance to revisit this one yet. It'll require some debugging based on the info I posted above.

Describe the bug The Rose module is crashing the EMU during the cleanup. The module loads fine with a normal start process.
