I believe what the OP means is that in Canada, distance is measured in kilometers. On my card, miles added is always 0 despite the card showing Charging, cost is always zero too.

Yah, they recently released a user setting for preferred unit, so it will likely take a bit of refactoring to handle that. Doing so, though, should address this as well.

@davcho80 @taylornoonan Would either of you be willing to setup mitmproxy and capture the API response from the Canadian API instance? I think I over estimated just how useful the unit work that ChargePoint did in their apps was going to be. The API calls and responses in the US looks the same as always... I just need to know what this call returns outside of the US: https://github.com/mbillow/python-chargepoint/blob/main/python_chargepoint/session.py#L165-L168

The good news is that Home Assistant has some really solid unit conversion helpers built in and that once I know which fields to read, this should be pretty seamless from the HA perspective.

@mbillow are you still waiting on an API dump? It looks like changing to km is an account setting, not a geographic limitation. Would you be able to change your account to km in Account > Profile > Distance Unit? Otherwise I can try to help myself.
